The Kindle automatically connects to the campus wide internet, UISWIFI.
The Kindle automatically detects nearby Wi-Fi networks that broadcast their network name.
Once you are connected, the Kindle will automatically connect to the network when they are available. However once the Kindle is returned, all networks are deleted from its memory.
There are two ways to open the internet browser on the Kindle.
1. Tap the Silk icon from the home page or from the favorites (the star icon in the lower-right corner).
2. Tap the Web library from the Content Libraries.
Once in the Silk app, you can search the web or enter a specific web site address in the search bar at the top of the screen. Tap within the search bar and use the onscreen keyboard to enter a search term or web address. Tap the Go button to start your search.
