WiFi and Email

Connecting to WiFi

The Kindle automatically connects to the campus wide  internet, UISWIFI.

Setting up off-campus connections

The Kindle automatically detects nearby Wi-Fi networks that broadcast their network name.

  1. From the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap Wireless.
  2. Tap a network to connect. If you see a lock icon, a network password is required. Enter the Wi-Fi password if required and then tap Connect.

Once you are connected, the Kindle will automatically connect to the network when they are available. However once the Kindle is returned, all networks are deleted from its memory.
