Modern Languages: ESL Resources

The English as a Second Language (ESL) Program is designed for people whose first language is not English. The mission is to help students reach their academic and personal goals and support them in succeeding at UIS and beyond. Staff works with international and domestic students. Students do not need to be enrolled at UIS to take advantage of our programs. The ESL program also supports UIS faculty and staff who work with non-native English speakers. For more information, please visit the program web site.
