The Basics

The Cloud Library application is an innovative way to browse, borrow, and read popular fiction and non-fiction eBooks and eAudiobooks from Brookens Library. You will need a valid I-Card to use the application.

Cloud Library is available on these devices: iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Nook devices, Sony, Kobo, and Android tablets and phones.

Borrowing Policies 

  •  Each eBook can only be checked out to 1 person at a time.
  •  You can have 2 eBooks checked out at one time.
  •  eBooks are checked out for 21 days.
  •  You can put 5 eBooks on hold at once.
  •  eBooks stay on hold for 5 days.

Making Suggestion:

If the book you are looking for is not owned by Brookens Library, you can suggest it for purchase.  The library can only see what books have been suggested cannot see who suggests them.

  1. Visit the Cloud Library 
  2. Using the left-hand navigation tap "Filters".
  3. Tap “Suggestions for Library”
  4. Tap anywhere on the screen outside of the filter box.
  5. Tap the magnifying glass icon at the top right of the screen and search for your title or author.
  6. Tap the "Suggest" button to suggest this title to the library.

Downloading Free eBooks

Most classic literature is available online for FREE download, therefore you will not find them on the Cloud Library.
