Sometimes an article you are looking for is not available through Brookens Library. In that case, you can request to receive the article from another institution by requesting it through Interlibrary loan (ILL).
There are two ways to submit Interlibrary Loan requests for articles.
- To request a book, log into My ILL using your NetID and password. Under "New Request" click on the "Article" link. This will bring up a new window with a fill-in-the-blank form. The more information you are able to provide, the quicker the request can be processed.
- You may also submit a request via the Library Search. If you are searching for articles and you find one you would like to request, you can simply click "Request Item". After logging in with your NetID and password the citation information is automatically populated and you can submit your request.
When we are able to obtain your request, an email will be sent to you with directions on how to access the article.
